Barbara Frum is a dance producer and agent from Toronto, Canada. She developed her education in arts administration through internship positions at organizations including: The Luminato Festival (Toronto), Pomegranate Arts (New York) and Batsheva Dance Company (Tel Aviv). In 2013 Barbara founded "Sharing Spaces", a Toronto-based dance production and management agency. Sharing Spaces currently partners with The Joyce Theater (New York) and with Ilter Ibrahimof at Sunny Artist Managementto produce new commissions for worldwide touring -- including projects by American Ballet Theater principal dancer Daniil Simkin, the iconic Wendy Whelan, and Malpaso Dance Company (Havana). Sharing Spaces also currently represents an all-male dance company called MADBOOTS DANCE and independent dance artist Bobbi Jene Smith. Barbara is also on the board of the Fall for Dance North Festival in Toronto. She is grateful for her connection with a festival focused on presenting both international and national companies in her home city.
